How Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control Works.
- Mount and wire the TSC-1000 to your trailer braking system with a Tuson accredited installer.
- On the road, the TSC will continuously monitor trailer yaw and sway.
- Using a proprietary algorithm, it determines the difference between quick steering to avoid road hazards and the onset of a trailer sway event.
- Along with other parameters, the TSC measures the angle, distance, and speed of the lateral motion of the trailer to quickly intervene and counter the sway with asymmetric brake application.
- The processing speed of the TSC is powerful and incredibly fast: capturing all critical elements of sway and uses this information to predict how this event will proceed without the driver intervening.
- Using this data, the TSC proactively avoids sway accidents by applying the brakes on the correct side of the trailer – quickly bringing the trailer under control with minimal speed reduction.
